Before publishing a rota

Check that shifts are covered, staff availability is current, continuity is reasonable, travel risk is understood and late or missed shift escalation is clear.

Safe allocation checks

Rota decisions should consider compliance, training, competency, client preference, package authorisation and any restrictions before allocation.

After the visit

Check-in, checkout and completed shift evidence should flow into timesheet review and payroll preparation so finance work is based on the operational record.
